I am not quite sure where to post this question..I had my uterus removed 2 years ago, now they want to go back and remove mt ovaries and cevix because of blood work(elevated platedlets and ca125 of 68) cysts and endo on right ovary and I have had bleeding...

I see that one lady had posted that her MO had her get a bone density test prior to starting tamoxifen. My gynologist suggested I get one a year after I had the ovaries/tubes removed and total hysterectomy. Did anyone get one before the surgical removal...

I'm interested in talking to women who have had both their ovaries removed, say before age 45, and therefore been put instantly into menopause.
I need to do this in the next couple of years (I'm 36) and just curious as to how it was for you/how it is ...

Take all myNightsky I had a hysterectomy at 36 but kept my ovaries.
So Friday I had my ovaries and fallopian tubes removed.
And will have to do it again hehehe.

i had a hysterectomy about 4-5 years ago (should remember when, huh) but left my ovaries..
i posted in another section about my PMDD and how the doc put me on Lupron.
took 3 mont shot on 3/22...my "period" would...
