How can I fix my Fisher & Paykel soft-touch wall oven? My oven will not turn on when the temperature is in the low teens. Around lunchtime I can turn on the oven light and then later the oven. How can it be repaired?

Basically I purchased an oven from comet in October 2010 (about 19 months old)
Last week I was putting my oven on and it tripped my RCD causing the electric to go out. After a year and half of no problems this has occurred suddenly.

Hi I have a combination Microwave oven/Grill/Oven that broke some time ago. The model number is BOSCH Gourmet- HFT879.
I am either after a replacement in stainless steal or the actual PCB repaired.
Can these be sourced?

I'm pretty sure you wont be able to get the PCB repaired (uneconomical), but you should be able to get that one of the power pins on the PCB burn....
Like a nice piece of kit, I'd seriously look at getting it repaired rather than replacing it.

I have an electric oven with a fused 13amp plug connected.
If I remove the plug would it be ok to change the wire from the cooker to a 4 or 6mm t and e and wire it straight into the cooker outlet plate?

Off the cooker outlet so that that oven can be plugged into it and when it needs replaced or repaired by westlondont I have an electric oven with a fused 13amp socket connected.

My Kenmore is just 3 years old and we only use the oven about twice a week.

It! I love that I can be baking something in the top oven and have something warming in the bottom oven i have had no issues with burners or oven, just the rusting stainless steel body...

There is a capillary thermal tube fixed inside the oven which is connected to the thermostat switch in the switch and breaks the electrical contacts in the switch, when the oven cools down the fluid flows to the oven heating elements....

So after spending more money on having our Smeg range repaired yet again I've decided to bite the bullet and spend some proper money on a good oven and narrowed it down, (I think..) to the above. Anybody got one and want to tell me that I'm doing absolutely...
