Hi guys, Ive been doing barbell complexes lately, and in Chad Waterbury's routine he recommends overhead squats but I have been skipping these as every time I try them I fall over, even with just the bar! Can anyone help please?

In fact I would squatting, squat jerking, I actually really like being rock bottom in an overhead squat.

Like the title says: Today was legs day and I did Backsquat 5-5-5-5-5, overhead squat 8-8-8, and weighted lunges. The overhead squats were 95lb, but certainly put a mild burn into my shoulders and back.

Im hoping for some advice on improving my front squat and overhead squat.
Basically Im asking how many times a week I should practice these lifts?
I have noticed they come up together on the crossfit mainsite to be done for about 6 sets...

me I could do too since the bar is not resting on
the top of the spine like with regular squats.
You'd hold a bar, then you
squat trying to keep the band exactly overhead.

So i've got this pain right at waist level in my back. The area were the back dents are. It's a dull-ish ache, but it's pretty strong still. I was getting this before I took my 3 week break too. I think it's from my squats?

Agree, Standing OHP is king.
