I don't know who all is familiar with overlanding, but its basically traveling to remote places with off road vehicles. Its more about the journey and adventure than the destination. Its like a road trip that's almost entirely off road and you camp instead...

First thing I would say is steer clear of rivets, as trailers take a hell of a beating and rivets tend to fret and pop in such situations .
