I've seen somewhere a chart that corresponds KH+pH to CO2 levels. Now, I have a KH of 4 and pH of 7.6, but I want to buffer it down to 6.5. In this chart, it said that the CO2 would then be too high. Is this true? Would the KH be lowered by a 6.5 pH buffer...

Lowering the pH will not affect the CO2 concentrations or KH (within reason).
Important to note that CO2 levels affect pH, and the magnitude of the change is dependent on KH.

Hey all,
My GH & KH test kit came in the mail today. Here are my tap water parameters:
pH: 7.4
GH: 5
KH: 5
My pH and KH are a bit high but my GH is pretty much perfect. I have fluval shrimp stratum which will lower my KH and pH, but will a low GH be bad...

Gh and kh refer to different ways to measure hardness/minerals/salts content of the water, but most fish will acclimate to a wide range of hardness and pH.

Most tropical fish can adapt to PH between 6.0-8.0 as long as its stable.
Adjusting the PH is death to any fish you have.

Water out and at the same time replace water with ro mixed with kh buffer or 50 /50 mix of bicarb it in otherwise it will cause a snow storm.
Ro tends to have a low ph so on its own ot will pull kh down even further.

It shouldn't cause it to rise further..
Low KH can cause pH swings soda to raise KH usually results in pH staying steady at 8.2.
You may be at greater risk of disturbing the pH by not raising the KH.
