BF moms can go as long as 6 months without a period. Birthday! :) Second, my midwife said that it's normal to expect a PP period 3-12 weeks after birth for FF moms.

Pp bleeding vs period? I am a little over 5 weeks pp vaginal twin delivery and have had red discharge on/off. I passed several large pieces of tissue that my doctor thinks were placenta pieces. She did an ultrasound 2 weeks pp to check for blood flow for retained placenta? ... My PP period came.... Your first pp period should be somewhat delay your period starting as soon as it normally would have due to the hormones. Versus when its just pp bleeding, I don't really feel it.

It lasted for 2 weeks and was pretty heavy. I also ebf period at 6 weeks pp which I was pretty irritated about. Hopefully it's not your period, just gas or something! 4.5 mths pp & no period yet.

I got mine at 12 weeks pp. I got mine at 9w pp and have found that I have supply issues in the time between O and my period was prego with second at 6 weeks and she was EBF also.

If you have gotten your 1st PP Period... Were your symptoms the same as before you got pg? I am spotting today for the first time in two weeks so I'm pretty sure it's not PP bleeding and it's not from sex as DH and I haven't had any in days. It was very weird. The first came while I was still having PP bleeding. This was actually my second cycle. I'm currently waiting on my second PP period--I'm on cycle day 24 although.
