Well I am new, and I want to ask you which of the previous gens was your favorite of the previous gen (Which means this gen is not an option.) I believe the 5th and 6th are kind of tied, although I am partially leaning mor towards the 5th.

I'm going to have to go with the 6th gen; the Playstation 2 and the Dreamcast are two of my favorite systems .
I personally don't know them by their numbers, but the PS2/XBOX/GC are my favourite gen, that is the 6th if I'm not wrong .

I'm using InnoSetup to create installer. I want the installer to automatically uninstall the previous installed version, instead of overwriting it. How can I do that?

I would suggest asking this question in the news group, assuming that you kept the AppId from the previous installation: [Run] Filename: {uninstallexe}; Parameters: /VERYSILENT; StatusMsg: Uninstalling....

IMO, ClickOnce() ? It allows the settings to be upgraded from a previous version using the following call.
Have you considered ClickOnce deployment? This topic is then covered in depth .

The code itself from a previous job doesn't time using ideas from a previous....
That I had a "similar" problem to solve and I was obviously using the experience from the previous job sued by reusing it for another employer or selling it.
