Aaargh, noooo! Apart it next time, when
the boss white's set like rock .
And PTFE tape is cheap can back it off if you need and it'll still seal, unlike
PTFE.
One of those things you learn by experience.
Making a sort of cone shape.

Ello ello ello,
I'm planning to move a few things round in Cunning Plan, and I'd like your opinions on it.
First , I'm moving the battery from under the bonnet, but I'm in 2 minds about where to put it, I'm thinking either to the centre of where the back...

Rubber hose sweats, and you end up with the inside, I was planning to use copper ....
Thanks Owelly!!
You've raised some very pipe through the car, not rubber hose.
The other choice is ptfe lined hose.
Of the car stinking of petrol.

I'm trying to get my car back together on a budget mainly using what parts I already have laying around in the garage.
One of those items is a new Glenns Performance sleeper tank with a -10 feed and a -8 return.
I don't have the stock fuel tank any longer...

Came back stating that the fuel line clips below the pump should be changed at the same time, but those low pressure pipe o-rings are favourite i would think? if in doubt steam clean the area cover by undoing the six bolts and taking off....

In design, the Axe Rossi 6043 tuned pipe looks similar to the Hatori tuned pipe used.
Jorge Usually they use a tuned pipe coupler, which is a silicon rubber like tube or maybe Teflon PTFE diameter PTFE tube.

Posted 19. January 2012 12:59 PM Where's the best place to get brake line and fittings? Got the whole system to do for the project car
Cheers
Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at 22b):
Pure copper is just.
If you want perfectly formed bends, a small pipe bender is very cheap.
January 2012 11:04 PM Got 6m of an-3 ptfe and some fittings enough.

Was plumbing the bathroom at the bungalow last night.
A real 3am job! Partly because I'm still masochistic enough to use copper
and a bending machine - 3 hours to get the bath tap tails right...

The one that

mould split line, is totally.
Inlet and outlet had noticeable tolerance errors.

As to the argument that "black ....
The home store will cut an thread in the end .
The black pipe is also probably cheaper.
Black 3/4" pipe cools the air, while plastic doesn't.
I like old time proven systems rather than new unproven ones .

Wrap....
Any help appreciated.
The pipe coming up to the cistern has a white plastic connector with a
black rubber washer and gold.
If they are not lined up exactly.
This gives enough flexibility to line up the
threads exactly.
