I'm with the OP, I prefer black, or, very dark grey strap .
This watch is definitely PVD watch.
Straps on black faced watches A brown strap on a PVD case doesn't work for me.

Still looking to buy a 'Burnt, that tough though it is, all PVD watches are only covered by a coating of some microns of thickness+ watches then....
But worth the extra.
watches, so to me the extra £50 for PVD is annoying.

The new Calibre 2100 it was a true GMT watch...
The Promaster SST was a massive watch, but they made it smaller and I prefer the original.
They also ruined two of my favorite watches in the past year.

The lume on the LumTec is awesome, however, it left me feeling a little wanting .
Has more complexity and machining, the PVD appears better applied, the dial elements are of a higher great watches ...

Had my eye on a nice Seiko quartz chrono
Would a nice, curved ended, dark brown croc strap work on that?
or would the ION/PVD just look "wrong" and I'd be better of going for the plain steel version if planning on a brown croc strap?

Hi guys I have a friend who collects the old chronomatic navitimers
And if you know them the paint on the bezels are a bit naff
So he wants them dlc coated or pvd if any one can help that would be great

Google "Avitt dlc" and you find a chap.
Anyone ??? Search "Panerai dlc" on eBay and you'll find a firm advertising dlc / pvd coating services for watches - I have no experience of their work however.
