Hi I am using the following code for a text box
UITextField *txt_field = [[UITextField alloc] initWithFrame:frame];
[txt_field setKeyboardType: UIKeyboardTypeNumberPad];
Now When I click on the text field, a number pad comes up which dont have a decimal...

Takes time but....
You enter blocks of numbers and eventually hit the correct combo.
Also if i hit the last two buttons on the pad all-trucks.com/forums/10...l#post10496445 .
Yep light come on and the key pad light comes on.

Have just wired in a MP3.2 405 2.0 16v engine into a mates 309.
We first tried to fire it up without any key-pad, as we didn't have one and was just hoping it should work..
Well, it certainly didn't.

In my app users need to be able to enter numeric values with decimal places. The iPhone doesn't provides a keyboard that's specific for this purpose - only a number pad and a keyboard with numbers and symbols.

Why? Because you can simply infer it from the user's input.

There is no 'Done' button on number pad by default. When a user finishes entering his numeric information in a textfield, how can I make the number pad disappear?
I may do this by remaining the Text Input Traits default, but users have to switch to number...
