As title says - if you provide afterschool care do you get paid for bank holidays?

Any job I had previously holiday pay for the entire year was made in the first 6 months, Meaning if you started a job in January you would be entitled to paid holidays in July. This new job I started says in the contract not 6 months but 12 months service...
