A place where we can all put those little chatroom moments that cheer us up.
Submit only Quote: s from #RolePlayersDomain or if you were in another chat and it is Quote: worthy, then you can put it here.
Seems some forum downtime caused some madness.....

Over that go with 1/2 sub floor rated plywood making sure the seams do not line... .
Constrution adhesive on top of the joist and use ceramic coated screws .
If it was my job I'd cut out all that old subflooring and replace with 3/4 T & G Advantec subflooring .

Who makes a quality left blade circular saw? I know Bosch and Milwaukee each make one. I think porter cable does too. Other than that, I dont really know of anything.
Anyone have any recommendations? Why dont more companies offer left blades?

I used to use this site about a year ago.
I noticed there are some forum categories gone...
are the chat rooms gone as well?
Just asking, I'm thinking of re-joining, and selling. Just want to see what's happened to the "community" section.

If one was going to use aluminum soffit panels to put a ceiling on a structure (like a carport) with steel I-beams (W section) spaced across the structure, how would one go about attaching the soffit panels to the I-beams?
TIA!

And do ....
Attaching soffit to a steel beam is painful to say the least.
This will level the surface as well as give you a nail/screw base .
Best to put up a set of purlins that can more easily be screwed into to span the distance across the beams .
