You will always be able to get paint that matches....
Best find a local small long established paint supplier and do business with them.
It will remind you of how the house first looked and the difference a paint job can make.

Growing up I lived in a house that had lead paint and I would play with it all day, never ate the whole house for lead (not sure how they will test for more things than paint?), so that's good it though so I turned out fine....

Thinking light brown, or light gray. White or cream trim.
Paint over bricks? Yes or no. I'm undecided.

house painted totally white with black door or tan paint with white trim and black door.
Two options that I suggest.
To not paint the bricks.

Look at the left half of this house the bricks by painting them....
A light blue-grey like some of the top and paint the garage and front door a deep red.
To lower the value of the house then by all means paint the brick.

If you can look....
A light blue-grey like some the bricks by painting them! I have a brick house and that's what I love about it.
