So the HPSP scholarship provides reimbursement for all things deemed required by the school. What if our operative course director/instructor deems loupes necessary? Can we receive reimbursement for our loupes?

Currently using Asco 2 1/2 x, 5x and 10x for all of my work. I wonder if anybody here uses any high end loupes and what recommendations you have
Im looking for something along the lines of 12x to 20x with a good focal length and field of vision, the latter...

Stereo microscope would be nice...had one when I was working as a Chemist .
Cheap enough but they might not be much good....we'll see .

I use a x4 loupe from Ebay on a pair of el cheapo £ shop reading on that thread (don't know if they're still viable) for some loupes that were attached to a spectacle.
