If you are upgrading to a newer model, the backup on the new HH because of the differences....
The backup folder retains the settings from the previous device.
You would want to rename the backup folder to backup.old then migrate the data.

Personally, i don't trust those software, and probally never will, I just set up alarms on my palm desktop, and just copy everthing myself Kcihtred2, there's no reason not to trust legitimate backup software.
