Which Palm device are you referencing? Windows 7 has some special Lifedrive.
The Palm support site (Google it) has most of the software you need, although it might be a genericWelcome to Brighthand, triumph2.

I must reinstall all of my Palm data to my Palm desktop module. The data was backed up on Carbonite and reinstalled. However the files are ABA and DAT type and will not migrate to the Palm desktop.

The files are aba and DAT files.....
I also never reinstalled to be that even if I copy the files over to the directory that Palm is located in nothing happens.
Back to the proper directory and then fire up the Palm Desktop software.

Does anyone have experience with using a good quality IDE for Palm OS?
In particular I'm looking for the ability to compile small non-colour .prc files for roll out to older Palm III models (8MB).

I have always used CodeWarrior for Palm OS to write for older devices (not the Palm III exactly=0127260061788213D5 and I think from Palm's developer program too.

This may seem like a silly question but given the fact that the tech nerds out there seem pretty confident they can flash the Palm Pre however they like, what would it take to get the iPhone or Android OS onto the Pre?
It might be a nice way to keep customers...

To run Apple software they make you buy and run it on Apple.
Look up Psystar.
If the iphone software is licensed like the Mac computer software, then you won't be able to do it by any legal means.

Strangely enough, I was only charged $1.08 on my credit card! You can download Palm desktop for the TX, but not the included software on the CD....
I lost my install CD in a hotel, called Palm, and they sent me one for a $14.95 charge.

Palm put a lot of effort into their Synergy solution, which grabs your is no longer supported, and there is no bundled....
Ah, here's the thing about the Palm Pre: you're not supposed to ever have to sync it yourself, regardless of the system.
