There are some clunky workarounds using some of the VoIP software available for Palm OS devices.
There is a program out.
Skype has not created a client for Palm OS.
Short answer, No.

Just trying to find out how much support there still is for the Palm TX. I'd like to update my firmware, update the Palm Mobile Portal, etc. My phone service is with Verizon, so I can't buy a Pre.

I have HP Pavilion desktop running Windows 7. My brand new Palm TX does not install properly on it. It complains of missing driver for the handheld.

If you have a 64bit version, pay attention to the "64bit Palm Desktop drivers are here..." post.
With using Palm Desktop on Windows 7, both 32bit and 64bit versions.

Q: Palm Tx Stuck On Calibration Screen The Palm TX that I have is stuck on the calibration screen. I have tried both soft and hard resets. It resets, then comes up to the calibration screen again. I can not get it to go past this screen. Help please!

When I charge my Palm TX by plugging it into the computer USB port, I notice the battery does not fully charge. It charges up to about 75% full.

Try an "in-cradle" reset (search the support site, I cannot use my macro to give you the link because this site's macros don't work on the TouchPad...grrr...) .
The chances are good that the battery is just showing its age .

That's probably because of the cheap plastic digitizer that Palm put on the last of their devices. Contact Chris Short who can sell you a good quality glass digitizer for your TX. And if you are not comfortable changing it yourself, he will happily do...

I bought a Palm TX on the evening of 11-26-08 from the Springfield, IL. Best Buy.
Following the quick start instructions I plugged it in to the charger and UBS port on my computer. Since it was getting late I decided to let it sit overnight to charge....
