CMYK/RGB colors---->convert to pantone? I have an Illustrator assignment due next week, and I've picked some great colors from a book I want to use. The book has the RGB/CMYK formulas, but the file has to be turned in as spot colors, not RGB or CMYK...

Anyone have a resource or know how I match a Pantone to a CMYK number?
I have a yellow(0,5,100,0) that i need to spec as a Pantone number.

- @Mike_FTW Do you have Photoshop? You can get to Pantone colors in the colorPantone Yellow C, 102 C and 107C are all pretty close.

I have a client wanting Pantone squares with the numeric value on the print file (or maybe it was the thumbnail) so not only am I just now learning the word Pantone LOL but I cannot find a tutorial on how to add these to the illustrator file....

I get a popup message asking if I want to re-calibrate the screen color. The Pantone color calibrator does not seem to work. I have tried to run the calibration several times and get this:

Probably wouldn't have done the restore....
But it's working perfectly now.
What version is your Bios?
Seems like an overkill to do a system restore in order to fix menu, Fn F5 key not working, and the Pantone problem.

Just got a pantone solid coated book from Ebay. I have been to a few
paint shop looking for an especific "color code" based on the book but
no success. What is my best bet when it comes to finding the exact
color based on the book? Mixing?
