Polydactyly is as more likened to eye color than parasitic twins.
A parasitic twins are when two distinctly separate embryos.
To do with a siamese/ parasitic twin.

And this is assuming a turbo is 100% efficient which it is not there about 30% efficient so it will only use about 35ishHp of the 100hp the exhaust makes on a 300hp engine. From my inderstanding This is how compounds can capitalize on the wasted energy...
