At what point would you talk about your beliefs with other people's kids?
I hadn't looked at it in that light, but if a child asked me what it is that I specifically believe, I'd be torn. I think it's easier to explain that, "Jack's mommy believes that Jesus is our savior and Lisa's mommy is Jewish," than it is to explain that Gabriel's mommy thinks that there is no God.

Are We To Respect A Person's Beliefs, Or Only Their Right To Believe?
But nowhere have I found where i have to respect someone else beliefs. You want to base your life on myths and fairy tales, go right ahead. But dont even think about trying to get me to go along with it.

Can You Briefly Explain How People Can Have The Same Attitudes, Beliefs And Values Concerning Various Issues?
Well the obvious answer would be that people who are raised with similar cultural customs and courtesies will hold the same attitudes, beliefs and values. If certain social mores or beliefs are encouraged or discouraged in the same manner to a wide spectrum of people, those people will develop the same attitudes, beliefs and values because they experienced the same social reinforcements growing up. I also believe it is more or less pronounced depending on the diversity of thought and the strength of the social conditioning. Looking at the United States, you can see that there are a variety of attitudes, beliefs and values compared to the the almost unified adoption of attitudes, beliefs, and values in Afghanistan or places where the social conditioning is presented in such a singular and heavily enforced manner.

What horrible beliefs did you have when you were young?
I didn't really have any strong beliefs as an adolescent. I guess my main horrible belief was that having strong beliefs in anything was stupid and that being a general fuck up and committing petty crimes and stuff like that made me awesome.

Why do most christians have to force beliefs down peoples throats without trying to understand the other's?
You make a post putting down christians and then talk about reporting people for inciting religious hate? Hell I am an atheist I dont care what you believe but frankly that just seems down right hypocritical.
