So resubbed last month after a ~two year hiatus, got billed for the month. Got billed again for this month along with the annual pass. Is this right, or did I get billed for an extra month? Just trying to keep my numbers all in the clear.

This statement makes no sense.
The annual pass is an agreement that you will continue to pay along with the annual pass.
You don't pay for the annual pass.

As recommended by another hearth member I did the dollar bill test on the Enviro Meridian.
All 4 sides of the door passed with flying colors. The ash pan is a different story!
