So I wanted to make sure I could still build stuff, so today I threw together this passive preamp made of Paduak (red) and Tigerwood. It uses the Harry Haller shunt design, with 10K Takman resistors and a 100K Alps blue-velvet pot.

Great pickups! If you can find a Glockenklang 3 band preamp, that's the one I'd go for. Push - pull for passive/active and very clear and uncoloured. The treble control acts as a tone knob in passive mode.

You can order the Audere with a passive tone control.
