When do I get my passport stamped, travelling by train through Europe?

There is a high probability of border checks in June at Swiss and Austrian borders because of the European Soccer Championship. These checks are mainly to stop violent soccer hooligans at the border. source

Carribean - Passport Stamps?

I believe it is possible, but I have never figured out how to do it. I am never asked to show my passport, just my seapass card when coming and going. source

May I enter Maldives with this passport?

Do you need to carry your passport off ship?

If you're cruising in places other than the Caribbean, Mexico or Alaska, most cruise lines take your passport when you embark and lock them up for you for the entire time you're on the ship. If the cruise line doesn't feel you need your passports when you get off the ship in ports, then I'm not going to worry either. I keep a color copy of the info page with me and that's all I've ever needed, even when looking to get the VAT refund. I just returned from two weeks in the Baltic and British Isles and never needed to show my passport anywhere----the ship kept them locked up in their safe. source
