I just want to get a feel for how many people buy their kids passports and how many don't. Please repspond if your young kids 5 and under have passports or you are just using birth certificates

Do children's passports (5 year ones) display the parents names and details?
I'm about to renew my kids passports for a further 5 years, their current passports are with their father, but we are travelling in June so need to renew them and he is not forthcoming...

I have spoke to DCL & they recommend passports but say they are not necessary just a photo id & birth certificate. Has anyone done this or had any problems doing this? We would like to book our 1st cruise so it will be short 3 or 4 nights.

My son is going to apply for passports for his children, all under 15, the birth certificates that they have include both parents names and place of birth, are these OK or is there a diferent one that is required? I know the rules changed a few months...

Ok, so two of my kids are my husband's biological children. Born from both of us in the US. We live in the US.
We never got around to doing anything with personnummers or passports for the children- or anything else...
