Usually I only saw the pastel colour.

Meechelle, I don't like the blending pencil.
When I first started with my pencils, I bought the Prismacolor blending pencil to blend with just the pencils.
Hassle/risk.

Lovely - can't wait to see it finished.
I had chance to work, the pastel really lends itself to the soft, long fur.

It has been awhile my friends! I spent the morning putting DS Watercolor Ground on boards and while that was drying, I got out my Inktense pencils and did some sketching. I had forgotten how much fun that was - Got a little carried away, but the sketches...

With normal pencils you have to try hard to cover and get intensity without texture, but with these you get the precision of pencil plus the intensity.
I like them because they can cover more.
