Stocks that pay dividends? Can someone give me cliffs on these? How do you find stocks based on their dividends? I have a bunch of money sitting in a money market account earning basically nothing. Any recommendations? Index does not account for dividends Okay so it seems most indexes do not account for dividends, does not that make the index easy to beat… you invest in the real stocks but you get dividends, while the “return” of the index itself only shows the asset appreciation, what am i missing?
