Trying to understand an fft (Fast Fourier Transform) routine I'm using (stealing)(recycling)
Input is an array of 512 data points which are a sample waveform. Test data is generated into this array. fft transforms this array into frequency domain. Trying...

I understand the output (real) array is frequency bins, but how do I relate....
The first half of the output buffer are frequency bins from 0 frequency (=dc offset) to 1/2 sample buffer size is thus 1000 samples, with 10 peaks.

Really
After a green energy seminar and after observing that common negative peak limiters have the ominously dissipating "resistors" in the circuit.... Let's remove those resistors from our beloved useless circuits:
R2 and D5 emulate the class C tube...

With sine signals each frequency has its preferred C value in the 100 ohm resistor (+ the series....
Why C=1.5uF gives the maximum positive peak with a 10kohm tube and the composite waveform I do not know.

Hi
what is the general rule of thumb for input ripple voltage (peak to peak ripple amplitude) if i use a dc dc converter?

It matters what frequency the ripple is at, and what the PSRR (ripple rejection) of the converter.

Peak levels of the frequencies Hi, i have a little question - When i use for example IXL Spectrum Analyzer, i can clearly see what frequencies should i boost or lower but what would be recommended "peak limit" for a mixdown. For example in IXL there is...

In your opinion what is better for muscle hypertrophy?
- High volume but low frequency (training each muscle group once per week but at high volume)
- High frequency but low volume (training each muscle group 2-3 times per week at low volume)
I have always...

When you stagnate on low frequency, there’s rarely anything has been seen with high frequency training, but thes are also short-term studies and sooner or later you will stagnate on frequency....

Some chaps inquired about my frequency multiplier circuit so here is a basic block diagram which I sketched just now
You will have to do some combobulation with circuitry but it should not be too hard.
I haven't tested this or even gone further than this...

It would also change the harmonics and frequency....
The highpass filter would shorten the pulse width so there is a gap between them .
But it would work on a triangle the frequency.
The problem with this circuit is that it's frequency dependent.

Hey everybody...
Im working on my own mixing room for a longer time now!
Ive been working close with a pretty talented acoustic designer who helped me out a lot!
I used GIK modules and some more selfmade modules to get where im at right now! We worked...

If you ask me, room modal.
I see no reason to boost a peak, you schould take it down instead.
On a budget and I cant afford any expensive gear any more)

Maybe this is common sense and I'm lacking some at this moment, but I've always done the combo amp thing so the separate amp/cab setup is new to me. I've read several of the amp stickies that discuss over and underpowering, watts and impedance, never ...

Genz should assured we use RMS measurements, otherwise....
But still...are amps rated in RMS or peak? (maybe I should change the title to get more people to weigh makers have lowered themselves to quoting "peak burst" power in the advertising.
