Trying to understand an fft (Fast Fourier Transform) routine I'm using (stealing)(recycling) Input is an array of 512 data points which are a sample waveform. Test data is generated into this array. fft transforms this array into frequency domain. Trying...

I understand the output (real) array is frequency bins, but how do I relate....
The first half of the output buffer are frequency bins from 0 frequency (=dc offset) to 1/2 sample buffer size is thus 1000 samples, with 10 peaks.
This question is based on a previous similar question. I have the following equation and an adjusted (some random data): 0.44*sin(N* 2*PI/30) I am trying to use the FFT to get the frequency from the data generated. However the frequency ends up being ...

Spectrum (Frequency Domain)') xlabel('Frequency (Hz)'), ylabel('Power') Now you can see that the peakTry a windowing function ? I don't think FFT is good for a fine-resolution frequency measurement frequencies (that is on....
How is frequency multiplexing implemented? I understand that in time division multiplexing the feed of each channel just uses its own time interval for sending out data over the same medium. But how can you mix different frequencies into a single medium...

WiFi or ADSL) then what you're looking for is called OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency a frequency band....
In the case of frequency multiplexing, each device has multiple of computer comms (i.e.
frequency and all others are ignored.

We use a data acquisition card to take readings from a device that increases its signal to a peak and then falls back to near the original value. To find the peak value we currently search the array for the highest reading and use the index to determine...

Short in time duration -- when looking at the signal in the frequency domain (by doing FFT) you'll....
Is there a qualitative difference between the desired peak and the unwanted second peak? If both peaks are "sharp" -- i.e.
Just wanted to see what the general consensus is on training frequency. Specifically how many days of rest do you allow after training before you hit that same body part again? Does this frequency change while on AAS? Ive done the one body part every ...

But concentrate on muscle confusion and peak contraction same when natty, and then you would have to ....
Chest a week mon tues thurs fri..
I train each body part with 18-24 sets per week, that's 6-8 different exercises .
Training frequency.
Just when I though beat frequency was the most straight forward topic, Kaplan sends me this question.. At the end of the show, the audience is clapping enthusiastically. A physics student who is in the audience measures that the lower level is clapping...

Hello all In the attachment i have attached a pdf which contains the graph of input impedance Vs frequency of a dipole antenna and ellipse shape parasitic element at a different distance between antenna and parasitic element, I basically want to know ...

Resonance Q seems quite high and there's possibly a real Z peak around 100 MHz which falls between the few analysis....
I guess Z11 is below 1 ohm.
Using HFSS 13 and yes center frequency is 88 Mhz but i have plot Z11 Vs frequency not S11.
The December issue of "Electrical Apparatus" has an article on motor ventilating fan design. One statement on page 24 is that the steady force from wind pressure (which might be "as great as the weight of the blade itself") has the effect of reducing ...

Going off on a little tangent to things I don't know much about... .
Linear system resonant frequency is not affected by any static force frequency.
Sounds like a good catch.
Hi Everyone, I've been working on a reciprocal frequency counter and all the digital work is done. Here is a breadboard picture showing 80 Mhz (or near it!) The top led to the right is the "MHz" indicator. It is AVR based and automatically enables or ...

Using transformer isolation is more difficult if you want to do it over a large frequency range, but ....
Opamps/comparators usually mentioned in the searching I've done for frequency counter input stages the approx frequency anyway.
This is one of those "if a tree falls in the woods and a person isn't there to hear it..." type of questions. If you are presented with a listening position that has a mode at 150Hz , and you only play a sine tone at 118Hz does the room mode have any ...

Mr installation that ....
Your question depends on modal bandwidth which depends on RT60I think it would be starting to exite it at 118hz - it does not have to be the exact frequency.
Be it a peak or null) at one frequency is small.
