I too have a pear tree, put pears per gallon....
A quick search may come up with some info for you .
With a bucket of pear juice sitting in your closet becoming nothing more then pear juice for monthsIts called Perry.
Has anyone tried this? if so did it work? and how old was Lo when you tried it?

Always call your doctor just to double check before giving in to juice! GL :) my pedi said pear them something so sweet like pear juice early I feel like it is setting you up for sweet issues later pear juice....

I want to try pears with my LO. Do you find that they come out better steamed or pureed? Then, can you freeze them or do they get brown like bananas?

Works with apples and bananas.
I squirt just a touch of lemon juice over them to help prevent browning.

I also upped the prickly pear juice to 1/2 gallon.
Sugar at 1.5 lbs and added 11.75 oz blue agave nectar .
