I'm just starting to build a shop, so I've only sold a few models. I sold three models in November and December, for a grand total of $6 in payments. I know that doesn't get paid out until I reach $30 in sales.

Similar problen with 'finished' status which shows as finished in the list finished and one stubbornly set to pending....
Some pending status is also variable and can change back to pending.
All 2005.
Failure rate with paid subscriptions...

I just made a payment to a seller and it says "Payment Pending" on my Paypal account. I contacted the seller but haven't received a response yet. What does this mean? Can I cancel at any time?

pending payments happen because:
a) e to accept the payment....
It takes a few days to do with this.
Payment pending means you sent an eCheck instead of an immediate payment.

Do to a PayPal payment method glitch, a customer and I chose to cancel a transaction. I've received the Etsy email confirming the transaction cancellation and know that once completed the canceled transaction will either disappear or show "canceled".

Yes to #2 & you do have to go through... .
Definitely worth sure the seller can just refund a pending payment to cancel it as well.
If it's pending, I think the buyer has to cancel.
The payment is still pending within PayPal.

You guys think Amazon payments will be a good way of accepting payments if I sell stuff here. I have isssues with paypal, not because I screwed anyone over, they just always link my account to someone, I dont know why, may be someone else at my house ...

Bank shows pending Payments is much better, and its free for both people apparently....

I talked to a Paypal supervisor and he told me that eBay, not Paypal, is the one putting payments to the sellers on hold. He said Paypal was requested to put a hold on the funds.
