My real question is simple. What writng implement can I get for under a Fiver (£5.00) that will work under ALL caching conditions.

gel pens seem pretty good, coping with damp logs quite well no idea, caching or not.

I am picking the brains of you Greenscreeners as to what your opinions would be about not having feed pens around your protein feeders.
Do any of you guys run protein feeders OUTSIDE of a Feed Pen?? If so what is your experience in doing so?

Most feed pens nowIf you have no other livestock then you won't need pens around the feeders....since you have hogs, pens are a must....make the ....
Unless it's a new pen then I'll keep one in there for as long as I need too.

That absolutely was the best forechecking game from the Pens all season against east-west all night.
I suppose if the Pens only add one winger and Kunitz goes back with Geno and Neal.
Not sure where that leaves Vitale.

How expensive is it to create gdi brushes and pens? Should I create them on an add needed basis and wrap them in a using so they are disposed quickly, or should I create a static class similar to System.Drawing.Brushes class?

This is WinForm on WinCE which generally means its good at showing up things.
It hasn't been required.
I don't know the technical reasons, but I think Brushes and Pens are not thread safe.
With a static brush.
