Actually the original Perkins heat exchangers are made by a company called will look up Bowman ....
Bowman engineering in the UK, you can still get them, a useful company for Perkins marinising parts to the radiator shop.

There is a guy called Jason Hatch who runs Ludham Bridge Boatyard in Norfolk he is an ex Perkins man and very helpful, if it was a Perkins or Duffields thing he will know about.

Perkins engine blow up?
On starting the manitou in the morning the engine pressurises enough that the oil filter blows off. Think today is the third day.
Once this has happend, if the filter is just put back on hit a new filter, tighten it up, it runs...

Ashbridge has a Perkins 104-22 engine which is the 2.2 litre/50 hp version of the MC42.It is time to do a little more than basic servicing so Ineed a workshop manual.Any clues on locating one would be greatly appreciated.Thanks STUBAG

I read somewhere that the M50 has some sort of relay .
Solution...remove the starter and have knows more about the Perkins M50 than I do.
The experts at Perkins couldn't help me when I had my problem.

Have the columb shift mounted from a 60chevy Duramax Compare perkins piston and rod to 5.9 cummins.Left is Perkins right is 5.9
