I often have pesto pasta for my lunch and wondered if my LO can have pesto with the tiny star pasta? She loves the star pasta with a home made tomato sauce and just wanted to know if pesto from a jar would be ok? Many thanks x

Under 12 months is 1g salt per day Pesto is fine but does tend to be incredibly salty, so you might need to check.

Slice chicken Boil pasta Add heavy whipping cream, pesto, and any Italian cheese in a sauce pan on med heat.
Grill chicken.
I don't think that they would hydrate enough to make the idea plausible.

OK, so I mixed ....
Basil dries fairly? Those are good for stretching a sauce; they add a nice unobtrusive sweet tone without dominating the sauce.
A little different, and the texture can be rough, but it should be passable as pesto.
Can anyone help? I normally get Sainsburys own tomato and basil sauce, it tastes lovely but I end up being paranoid, checking every spoonful of pasta so that I can remove the tomato bits. It's not so much the taste, I just can't stand the texture of them...

Have you tried making your own, with using passata when it is loose in the sauce....
YouCabonara or 4 cheese sauce? Just kidding...
From the shop and add some herbs and sundried tomato pesto, you get a smooth tasty tomato sauce.
