In recent years, many charities have become almost indistinguishable
in structure from large business organisations, the difference being
that they are almost totally financed by money from the public in the
form of tax benefits, funding from the taxpayer...

Have used that cost for their pet project and the answer is no.

I found a new search engine called dogreatgood.com When you search with it money is donated to pet rescue charities. I'm always looking for ways to help with animals and I figured there were others here who feel the same.

Set's Pet's Haven apart from any other pet rescue centre in Australia is; they are "pro life supporting larger animal charities such as WASPA, RSPCA - groups working towards real change for it.

HSUS is one of the worst for it, in my opinion. I'm not really sure what
more you can do to get that particular organization...
