What are peoples opinions on rescuing dogs from dog pounds?
these dogs are given 5 days before being put down where as the dogs in dog charities dont get put down but are arguably treated better.
the dilemma here is does one rescue a dog from unnecessary...

Either way rehoming an unwanted pet is a lovely thing to do wether its pound or rescue its it from one perspective, if i rescue from the charities then my donation is put back into the long term from the charities then....

Does anyone on here donate to any animal charities? I'm looking at donating to a couple but there are so many to choose from. I was thinking of the RSPCA and perhaps Animalsasia.org. but I'm really not sure. I'd like to help the usual cats and dogs etc...

Charities like WSPA and IFAW help animals all around the world....
I only give to small local animal charities will probably benefit directly from your money, not get 'lost' in admin.
To the cat protection league and a local donkey sanctury .

Hi all,
We always make most of our charitable contributions at the end of the calendar year, and I'm sitting down to do that now. No time like the last minute! As for animal-related causes, we usually donate to ASPCA...

What are some of your favorite charities?
We donate to the Wounded Warrior Project and the ASPCA. I'm thinking about adding another charity when my raise kicks in, but nothing local is really grabbing my interest.

Chinese New Year spring cleaning gets out of hand when what is thrown out includes household pets like cats and dogs.
That is why different groups of animal rescuers are being kept busy collecting pets left out in the cold as their owners spring-clean...

In recent years, many charities have become almost indistinguishable
in structure from large business organisations, the difference being
that they are almost totally financed by money from the public in the
form of tax benefits, funding from the taxpayer...

That's a common complaint with the larger charitable organizations, the
HSUS is one of the worst for it, in my opinion. I'm not really sure what
more you can do to get that particular organization...

I would pay all that i could afford without putting myself into financial problems.
life is about more than money.
ive heard of idiots spending thousands of dollars on coke, shoes, holidays etc.
