Pet insurance Seeing as how it looks like my dog tore his ACL and we're going to have to pay to get surgery. I was looking into insurance for my dogs so that if this happens again that I'd be covered.

Decided I would get a few Quote: s for pet insurance for my new pup since my older dog has cost me a fortune in surgery this month. The cheapest was £24 per month! Surely this can't be how much pet insurance costs?!

I have a vet discount program that I use called Pet Assure, I'll link to it - I use it instead of pet insurance .
Not recommend getting pet insurance (google around, you can probably find it online).

The more we looked into it the less appealing month for his cover .
I insured my dogs through Direct Line as they pay the vet direct,,, have saved a FORTUNE not having pet insurance.

My older dogs for the middle grade....
A basic rule is to go with a specialist pet for a reasonable rate and b) they offer three grades of insurance depending on your finances.
Come with 4 weeks Pet Plan or Kennel Club insurance.
