I'm not sure what the fuss is all about. Watching a film at 48 fps instead of 24 fps shouldn't look all that different, it seems to me. But, I can understand the theater owners being mad about having to upgrade their equipment.

LOTR started shooting 5 months earlier but that was 3 films, King Kong 6 months later... .
Delays will occur in post-production.
Thinking it gets pushed to 2013.
Though I still doubt whether this actually makes it to December 2012 .

I love that they will each direct one film in the trilogy. The competitive fires are definitely gonna be brewing! Tintin as a property plays to both men's sensibilities, so this should be great.

The US DVD still beats any release out there, great video and audio remaster, and a very nice little digipack with lenticular cover .
