We have a dog who has had a history of crystals and bladders stones and has spent the last several years on Urinary SO. We did take her off it at one point for a year but the crystals/stones came back. The Urinary SO keeps the crystals and stones...

Yes it matter about how she will be fed, while you are away? The pet sitter will just feed her the food you leave for her.
Oxalate are the stones, and, as you know, have to be removed by surgery.
They are crystals.

Not a fully fledged stone but a bladder filled with crystals which is equally uncomfortable Crystals do not necessarily indicate stones but many pigs do go on to then develop stones.
