I own a Peugeot 306 automatic which has a major problem!!!
When driving, the car will jolt and then on the dash board the Sport and Ice lights will flash. Whilst the car is doing this, it will not change gear but still moves forward.
To correct the problem...

I've been using around 50% SVO / 50% Diesel for around 4,000 miles and have done my last 1,000 miles on 95% SVO...

high milaege (100k) Golf 99 Mk4 GT TDi 110bhp for around £5500 +VRT (~9500 euro)
or
a decent milaege (<70k) 306 2001 HDi Turbo 90 for around £3500 +VRT
If I get the Golf I'll be using all my budget and will have to save ...

The gt tdi golf is good though dont know.
I love the golf though the 306 isnt nice at all.
As I remember the 306 Meridian models have half leather, 4 elec windows, side skirts, fogs.
