Well, you could look at PEX - but I believe that invents its own data (it doesn't watch your existing tests, AFAIK).

For C# (or .NET in general), PEX might random testing tools based on QuickCheck....
For .NET, Microsoft has Pex which will hopefully go mainstream for .NET 4.0, along with Code with it, but a useful tool to have in your armoury nonetheless.

This may help those who are unaware of the differences... .
Pex and Pex-al-Pex are not the same.
It's designed to carry water flake off and cause problems .
PEX might have the same problem as PVC.

The Pex developers don't read (often) stackoverflow....
Also, with Pex if your code is getting fully torn down be hitting the file system each time which will have a serious impact on performance.
Of doing this is that it makes testing easy.
Is there such a thing as unit test generation? If so... ...does it work well? ...What are the auto generation solutions that are available for .NET? ...are there examples of using a technology like this? ...is this only good for certain types of applications...

And yes, the Pex licensing really is confusing, I mean, disallowing commercial use of something that doesn't even your licensing concerns is in the Pex....
If you are after Pex-like functionality, there's probably nothing like it out there.

CodePro Analytix has a JUnit test generation module that sounds like it will do what you want.
I think you can still get it but make sure the company is still there .
