Phonak have emailed me with the water resistant rating for Naida S (not CORE) UP is IP54.
Can anyone explain this? They also told me that the Naida CRT xsp plus is IP67
Which is better?
They state this has been confirmed by submerging aid for 1/2 hour...

Looking at the Nios, which don't fit my loss but am curious to know if the Naida are the same as the Nios.
They say the Nios are water and dust resistant. Are the Naida just water resistant or are they the same?
Nios for mild to mod and Naida for severe...

Hi,
My daughter has bilateral profound hearing loss. She got sick with Meningitis which in the end affected her hearing.
Now the doctor recommends Phonak Naida 1 UP but its too expensive for my family. I'm eyeing Octicon Swift 70.

I just bought this pair of hearing aids and i start to feel a little bit annoyed after a few days. Some times experiencing sound drop then its automatically back again. Either one side, depends on..for example when talking on phone, or sound of doorshut...

You can have that feature turned off, think....
This should not take several seconds, though, it should be well under one second .
After a loud sound the aids are supposed to react by "clipping" the loud sound off so it is not extremely irritant loud for you .

Just found out about the Naida DAZ and I wondering what is the different between the 2, normal and DAZ?
Could you change your Naida to DAZ if it is not one already? As In send it off to Phonak and they modify it?

Phonak have sent me (I couldn't find it on internet) the water resistant rating for the Phonak Naida S (not core, core is less). It is IP54 which Google says dust proof and splash proof only.

Its just annoying when phonak advertise the Naida v sp as water protectors many times, ....
However when I sweat many times, still the same really .
They are listed as water resistant/sweat resistant.
