How do you get your phone company to stop calling you to sell you extra services?
Tell them to stop calling you or you will switch over to their biggest competitor. See if that works, they are hounding you daily to increase your services. I am not getting the offers in my mailbox every day from the company that I dropped 7 years ago, either they gave up because it costs too much to send out that junk mail or found out it's cheaper to call with automatic calling to reach out to customers.

New phone company in Walla Walla?
At McNeil Island we have been using the Vdebit account since August. We could still use global tel link if we wanted until Jan but I switched right away after using up my global funds. The phone system is no better - no worse as far as I have been able to tell. For him it is better because he can call any phone number he wants to. It doesn't have to be just my number and he can see the remaining balance on the account. I dont really like it because I can't see the remaining balance. I have to rely on him checking the balance and letting me know when it gets low. If he doesn't check and then it runs out of money I may not know until I miss his expected call.

Transfer our own number from the phone company?
How do we get the phone company to release our phone number to us if we are using asterisk and not a VOIP company? For example, if we are using asterisk then we are running our own service. How do we get our previous providor to release the number to us since we are not a VOIP company.
