I am still trying to get my hearing aids adjusted to suit my Three Pi build.
My audiologist put in a music mode, but I'm having trouble telling him what is to hot as far as frequencies. He bumped down the area around 1,000 Hz, and that is much better....

You are in quite a predicament, because even if you get a setting dialed in, as volume/spl changes, the relative sensitivities of what remains of your cochlea to different frequencies will change, and maybe not as predicted by normal averages .

Some of you may recall that my hearing aids were interacting with the Three Pi Speakers, and I had to go to my audiologist and have him add a second and third music program, and take them off Auto.
He cut a good bit in the 1K to 2K region, and boosted...

Got new 6x9's for christmas. How in the #### do you put these in? tried mounting from underneath screws aren't long enough. Tried mounting from up top, speakers wont sit in the hole. Do i have to cut the metal? Really getting me P-O'ed

Last time I did this was in '94 on my current car so it's been awhile LOL well the speakers we took out are 6x9 and they were mounted underneath but....
You have to cut the rear deck to let the 6x9's sit flush .
Stock speakers are 4x10's IIRC.
