It'll make everything computer.
You, but its more complicated and a bit harder then using a standard MIDI piano keyboard.
If you're not a piano player, a huge keyboard probably won't do you very good.
Ones too though.

G dim = (G, Bb, Db....
C dim = (C, Eb, Gb) and if you want a seventh, a Bbb or an A .
A diminished chord (in most cases a triad that has three notes) has the root note (like C or G), a flattened 3rd and 5th (and if you include a 7th, it's double flattened) .

I would love to learn how to play the Piano with the lessons on GarageBand for Mac.
To do so I have to plug in a real keyboard which I don't have.
I thought it's possible just to plug in my ipad and to open the Piano keyboard in GarageBand.

You can get a simple midi keyboard pretty to play around with GarageBand a bit too see if I really should go for a keyboard and piano lessons..
You can't learn to play the piano with a screen keyboard.

Alright so I've always had a thing for the piano, but for whatever reason I never invested the time to learn it at all. Now being that piano's are very, very expensive, I'm looking to purchase a decent quality, but affordable keyboard to start teaching...

Generally I'd recommend you a stage piano, because it feels waay more similar to a real piano and,....
You must decide if you're looking for keyboard with touch response (aka stage piano) or a regular keyboard (cheaper).
