I have an 11yr old piano pupil from a very musical background who's got this far in a year.
I would like her to play with more abandon and a greater dynamic range. Everything is very safe, she does crescendo and diminuendo but I want more.

They are very easy so you can concentrate some lovely baroque pieces though .

Again, this piece was a bit repetitive, but not....
Around 1:20, there seemed to be something new, but it was not pursued .
There is a suspenceful element, but no climax to it .

What's the right age to attempt difficult piano pieces? I'm a piano player and I do enjoy playing as well as trying out fast and fun music however there are times where I've felt that trying some pieces is a waste of time. Right now Im in my first year...

Also, remember that a piano has 88 black and white keys.
To put all that effort into hauling that heavy piano to find out that the keys are to far gone to work with.

It's not.
First off I would highly recommend getting a teacher if you're think learning piano is the same as learning things on your own.
On a piano (songs are vocal pieces).

I am really sorry that I cannot start this blog on a ier mood but I cannot. My piano lesson was such a I did everything wrong. I can practice and practice until I'm note perfect and then get to my teacher's piano and its like I haven't touched a piano...
