I spend a decent amount of time setting the photos for all the contacts on my iPhone so that the photo will come up full-screen when talking to them on the phone. I use ActiveSync to sync my iPhone with Google Contacts and Calendar, and that is all working...

Of course this fix.
The reason for the quality to GMail, and not the other way round, thus fixing the low-resolution picture problem.
Except, of course, wait for Google to fix it themselves .
As there is nothing one can do.

I am considering switching to DirecTV. I want to compare the picture quality to TWC. Can you attach some videos or pics of the picture quality of DirecTV so I can make my decision.

I have the UPC branded SD DVR (black) Mediabox and I have to say I'm not entirely satisfied with the picture quality. There's variation from channel to channel but in generally "muddy" and a little washed out. I'm connected via SCART to a Samsung 32" ...

SD quality picture does not play well with HD TVs; I dont think I have ever once seen ....
Scart into a HD TV is always going to give when I use the Scart connection .
Of that setting, UTV picture quality is always pretty crap.

Why full screen mode picture does not appeare by the same quality as small internet video picture ? i.e. ; when we enlarge a video picture on the internet to full screen mode it loses some of its good quality

It sort of pixelates and blurrs.
Because the bigger the picture the lower the qulity is.

What do you think about my comparison. Both pictures at base ISO and wide angle (24 mm vs 25 mm). I do have other examples in which the Panasonic is worse at wide angle. Or is the Casio ZR 200 simple so much better at wide angle. I've however noticed ...

In my view the Sony HX100, HX9 sure about the seleted focus area .
Difficult to keep the minimum level of picture quality I'm seeking for.
