Are the newer Springfield Mil-Spec barrels a 2 piece barrel or are they now a one piece?

Is there an easy way to determine if a Springfield Armory .45 barrel is a two-piece? I see that Clark Custom Guns won't use a two-piece SA barrel.

Beyond that, buying used, hard to say what you could run... .
Anything else is 99.9% likely two-piece.
No problem with two piece barrels in spite of the occasional picture of a failed joint and separated tube piece barrel.

To a degree they were popular to subtract 3/8" off the barrel....
From what I understand, for the Smith & Wesson N frame's, the 8 3/8" barrel length took you right up in 1935 the longest barrel length you could get was 8 3/4 inches.

Here is 3 great barrels. 2 of them are CP classic one pieces, and the other is a CP tactical with an Apex tip. All of these barrels are flawless on the inside and only the 16" barrel has minor tip wear. I am in need of money so no trades please.

Now everyone is going to know why there's the word "beginner" after my name. So here I go. Henry rifles, the 1860 variety or the remakes for that matter; How come all the barrels look like they have 8 inches of barrel added on at the end?

barrel portions aligning incorrectly? Also, assuming the Henry barrels were grooved verses smooth bore, were both barrel portions grooved? It seems like the end piece could have been ungrooved without aligning incorrectly?....

As I now have the facilities, a bigger hotter funace :D, I am tempted to cast up some new barrels for the BSA unit twins in cast iron or aluminium alloy, with sleeved liners.
I can make these from 500cc upto about 810cc using the original form of barrels...

They're great on 1 piece pump barrels etc, but not really worth i have the edge kit
but i have swtiched over to deadly winds CF barrel
and stiffy CF barrels match of paint to ....
And added barrel length aren't ideal.
