I have a mike spinner pro model bike rear brake only, gyro, three piece cranks. In almost new condition. Just spend $100 at fat tire bikes installing the adapter and spacers for the 3 piece cranks and new pedals. The three piece cranks were $85 alone!...

I am thinking of taking an old one piece crank set and grinding down
the spindle into a square tapered so I can put a decent low gear on my
junky bikes, will this work?

I like that one-piece crank arm that Chalo suggested, just shove a crank....
Tonight I did some measurements on the
single piece crank and don't mind that the bike weighs 40
lbs.

Thanks for the comments guys.

True it is but i've been told by 2 racers and 1 engine builder that a stock cast crank will live longer than a stock forged crank in 450+ horse high RPM dirt track applications but both will eventually fail.

Downpipe bolts are perfect for the cam pulleys!
