The last couple of times we have gone to Disneyland pin trading was popular. Is pin trading in WDW a big thing or has it lost its fun?

They have pin trading time, usually a couple of hours long, where there is a big board (like 200 pins on it), great to trade, and also at some resorts they might have a trading book where you can trade

I haven't visited DL/DCA since 2001 and I have been collecting and trading pins on our last trip....
If the CM already has the pin you are trying to give them on their lanyard.
You trade with CMs.

What age for pin trading?
DD will be 6.5 for our first trip to DLR and DS will be 4.5. Wondering if pin trading might not be a fun thing for the kids to do and great souvenirs but don't know what age is really great for that. How old before your child...

The only pins I trade are duplicates I ....
Don't spend six or eight dollars on a pin just to trade it.
Because they frequently do that, you run a high risk of getting a fake pin.
They frequently trade for those.
