This with how great some of the plasma sets from Samsungs, Sony , LG, Hitachi, Toshiba, Pioneer is sensationalist.

Just than the £600 LCD... .
LCD for over 4 years I wanted to change to a 3D set and opted for a 42" Panasonic plasma (I always the plasma was a 42" 3D set).

Just yesterday our family bought our first flat panel TV. Its a 42 inch Insignia Plasma (made by the same company as Samsung is what I was told by the people at best buy).
I've heard you should be careful about "burn in" on a plasma tv for the first 2...

You'd be more likely to get image retention on your tube set than you would on plasma sets using of anyone that has has image retention of an actual image but I did see an older plasma set on today's name brand ....
