The list of major manufacturers who make plasma TVs is on the wane and those that are still in the game are showing a reduced bottom line. It looks like the writing is on the wall for the future of plasma sets.

The plasma is dying/dead stories have been a cliche that show up plasma it's really hard to go back to lcd.
Never liked the glossy glass screens.

Hello everyone. I bought a 50inch LG plasma tv last summer. I recently noticed 3 dead pixels on my tv. What should or could I do about that?

You can search for it on AVS forums or highdefjunkies.com I meant LG not Panasonic .
There is a disk you can burn and play that can sometimes activate stuck pixels .
I don't think 3 justifies a defect per Panasonic standards (I could be wrong) .

Warranty, which usually requires a certain number of dead pixels in a specific area, or a certain number over the entire screen.
AFAIK, the PSP has the same dead pixel coverage as the mfg.

Have you called of them have ever had a TV with a bad pixel then they wouldn't say that "Only one dead pixel as a customer.
This stinks but sadly one dead pixel does not warranty an immediate repair of a Plasma TV.
