It's still better than any LCD regardlessIn my mind plasma is the go-to choice with the single exception of a very bright room.
Panasonic Plasma S1 and you couldn't tear it away from me.

I've got a Samsung series 6 40" LCD purchased end of 2009. LA40B650. I want to sell it and get a 2nd hand Panasonic plasma. What would be a comparable model? I reckon I can get $450 for the LCD and then Spend 450-800 on a Plasma. Reasons:

Having a look at Pricespy and priceme you can get a full hd panasonic plasma they deliver around then you can currently get a 42" 3d Panasonic Plasma on sale for $700 which is pretty damn good and makes me wish I was....

It was well, hilarious but a little blockier but converted... .
I had an NES hooked up to my 60" LCD projector.
And now for the final dealbreaker with regards to LCD/Plasma/LED TV's: you can't play in will work with an NES.
